Settings

Everything that configures the clinic — profile, GST, UPI, doctors, staff roles, plan and more.

How Settings is organised

Settings has its own left-hand nav with a section for each part of the clinic's configuration: Clinic profile, Doctors, Staff & roles, Branches, Workflow rules, Billing model, Services & pricing, Booking page, Your plan, Subscription, My account, Security, and Activity log. Most staff only see My account and Security — the rest is owner-only.

Clinic setup — profile, GSTIN, GST rate, logo

Settings → Clinic profile is the default landing page. Its Clinic profile panel holds the name, phone, email, address, GSTIN and the clinic's default GST rate (used on invoices unless a service or lab test sets its own). Its Branding panel holds the logo, favicon and accent colour used across the staff panel and public booking page.

UPI payments (the QR on your invoices)

The UPI payments panel, right below Clinic profile, holds the UPI ID (VPA) patients pay to — this is what the dynamic QR code on every invoice encodes, so a patient just scans and pays with no payment gateway and no transaction fee. An optional payee name shows next to the QR; it defaults to the clinic name if left blank.

  1. 1Open Settings → Clinic profile.
  2. 2Fill in GSTIN and GST rate (%) in the Clinic profile panel.
  3. 3Scroll to UPI payments and enter your UPI ID (VPA), e.g. clinic@okhdfc.
  4. 4Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Tip

The Billing model section (a separate nav item) is about how and when the clinic collects payment and how invoices are numbered — not the same as the GST/UPI settings above.

Doctors

Settings → Doctors lists every doctor with their specialization, room and status. Opening a doctor takes you to their full record — profile (name, phone, email, specialization, qualification, consultation fee, room label) and their weekly availability.

Staff & roles

Settings → Staff & roles is where you add front-desk, pharmacy, billing and management team members and set their role (receptionist, pharmacist, lab, billing, doctor, owner). Adding someone sends an invite so they can set their own password. A role only appears as an option if your plan includes the module it works in.

Services & pricing

Settings → Services & pricing is the price list for anything billed outside pharmacy and lab (procedures, consultations, etc.) — each item has a name, price, and tax treatment (standard clinic GST rate, or a custom rate you set per item).

Schedule

A doctor's working hours and slot length are set from their own record (Settings → Doctors → open a doctor → Availability) rather than a single clinic-wide schedule page — this is what the public booking page and the appointment slot picker both read from.

Security (2FA)

Settings → Security covers your own account: enabling two-factor authentication with an authenticator app (TOTP), recovery codes, and the list of devices currently signed in. Owners also see Team security here — a toggle to require 2FA for everyone on staff; anyone without it set up is asked to enable it at their next sign-in.

  1. 1Open Settings → Security.
  2. 2Click Enable two-factor authentication.
  3. 3Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
  4. 4Enter the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm.
  5. 5Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — you'll need one if you ever lose your authenticator.

Your plan & entitlements

Settings → Your plan is the plain-language answer to "what can this clinic actually do?". Every feature is shown as one of: included in your plan and on, granted for you specifically as an add-on even though your plan doesn't carry it, switched off even though your plan includes it, or an upgrade-only feature a higher plan would add.

Note

A feature can be turned on for your clinic à la carte, without changing your whole plan — that's what "granted" means. If you need just one extra module, use the "write to us" link on this page rather than upgrading the entire plan.

The same page's Your limits panel shows how much of each quota (seats, patients, etc.) you're using against your plan's cap.

Branches (multi-branch)

Settings → Branches lists every location under your organisation, when your clinic group has more than one. This is also what makes cross-branch patient recognition work — a patient registered at one branch is recognised (and their visit history to other branches shown) when they walk into another.

Activity log

Settings → Activity log records every action taken in the clinic — who did what, when, and from where — with filters for the action type, the staff member, and a date range. It's the audit trail for anything from a cancelled invoice to a disabled 2FA.

Where do I set the UPI ID that shows on invoice QR codes?

Settings → Clinic profile → UPI payments panel → UPI ID (VPA).

Where do I set the clinic's GST rate?

Settings → Clinic profile → Clinic profile panel → GST rate (%), alongside the GSTIN field.

What does "granted" mean on the Your plan page?

The feature isn't part of your plan, but has been switched on for your clinic specifically as an add-on — you already have it, no upgrade needed.

What does "switched off" mean if my plan includes the feature?

It means the feature was deliberately turned off for your clinic even though your plan covers it — you don't need to upgrade, just ask to have it turned back on.

Can non-owner staff see Settings?

Most staff only see My account and Security. Every other section is owner-only.

Where do I manage a doctor's working hours?

Settings → Doctors → open the doctor → their Availability tab, not a separate clinic-wide schedule page.
