Booking an appointment
How to book a visit online — pick a doctor, pick a slot, and get your token in under a minute.
Open your clinic's booking page
Your clinic will share a booking link with you — on WhatsApp, on their website, or on a card at reception. It looks like <clinic-name>.ayunila.app. Open it on your phone or computer; you don't need to install anything or create an account first.
Three quick steps
- 1Choose a doctor — you'll see their specialisation, qualification and consultation fee.
- 2Pick a date from the next 7 days and an available time slot. Slots that are already taken are shown greyed out.
- 3Enter your full name and mobile number, then tap Confirm booking.
Before you confirm, the page shows a short notice explaining what information is collected and why — you'll need to agree to it once per booking. You can also opt in to WhatsApp/SMS reminders here.
When you'll be asked for an OTP
Most first-time bookings don't need a verification code — just your name and number. You'll be asked to verify your mobile number with a 6-digit OTP in two situations: your number already has a patient portal account with this clinic (so the visit can be added to your existing records), or the clinic has chosen to verify every online booking. Either way, it only takes a few seconds.
If a code doesn't arrive, tap Resend code once the timer runs out, or tap Change number if you typed it wrong.
Your confirmation
As soon as your booking goes through, you'll see a confirmation with your token number, the doctor's name, the date and time of your visit, and your name as entered. A confirmation message is also sent to your phone. Keep the token number handy — it's what the clinic calls out when it's your turn.
If you verified your number with an OTP while booking, you're automatically signed in to the patient portal — you'll see a link straight to your dashboard from the confirmation screen.
Changing or cancelling a booking
There's no reschedule option on the booking page itself. To change your slot, sign in to the patient portal, cancel the existing appointment, and book a new one. Cancelling online only works for appointments that are still Booked or Checked in — once your consultation has started or finished, you'll need to contact the clinic directly.
A booking is held the moment you confirm it — if two people pick the same slot at the same time, the second one will see "This slot is no longer available" and can choose another time straight away.
That usually means the doctor's schedule is full, they're on leave, or they don't see patients that day. Try a different date from the strip at the top, or a different doctor.
Sign in to the patient portal with your mobile number, cancel the upcoming appointment from My Appointments, then book a new slot. Once you've been checked in for a visit, changes have to go through the clinic.
No — you only need your name and mobile number. An account (with OTP sign-in) is created automatically so you can look up this booking later, but you're never asked to set a password.
Yes — it's how the clinic reaches you about your visit, and it's what you'll use later to sign in to the patient portal and see this appointment, your prescriptions and your bills in one place.
