For doctors
Your queue, the consult screen, vitals with abnormal flags, fast prescriptions, follow-ups, lab orders and dispensing.
What you see when you log in
Your sidebar has Appointments, Queue, Patients, Prescriptions, and Lab if your clinic has the Lab module. Billing, Pharmacy management, Reports, Follow-ups and Settings aren't shown. You can still set a follow-up date from inside a prescription — it just won't be its own sidebar page for you; reception works that list.
Your queue & opening a consult
Queue shows your patients split into waiting, called (in consultation) and done, with their token numbers. Open a card to go straight into their appointment, where Quick actions let you record vitals, write the prescription, order labs, or view the visit's bill — the appointment detail page also shows this visit's recorded vitals at a glance.
Recording vitals & reading the flags
Record BP, pulse, temperature, SpO₂, respiratory rate, weight and height on the appointment — BMI is calculated for you. Each value is assessed against age-appropriate normal ranges, and if anything falls outside them the Vitals card shows a red badge — "N vitals out of range" — so an abnormal reading never gets buried in a list of numbers. See Vitals & BMI for how the ranges work.
Writing prescriptions
Write prescription opens the Rx screen with the patient, this visit's vitals, and their recent visit history already loaded alongside the form.
- Medicine typeahead — type a name and pick from a dropdown blending the Indian drug catalog with your own recently-used medicines (tagged Yours).
- Repeat last visit — one click refills the diagnosis and every medicine row from this patient's previous prescription.
- Frequent medicines — chips for your most commonly prescribed drugs; tap to drop one in as a new row.
- Templates — save a common diagnosis + medicine set once, then Apply template to reuse it, shared or private.
- Past-visit recall panel — recent diagnoses, medicines and follow-up dates for this patient, without leaving the screen.
If the form already has medicines typed in, Repeat last visit and Apply template both ask whether to replace the rows or append — nothing is overwritten silently. Full walkthrough — dosage, frequency presets, food timing, printing — is in Consultation & prescriptions.
Follow-ups, labs & dispensing
Set Follow-up date on the Rx screen when the patient should come back — that field is what puts them on reception's Follow-ups recall list. If your clinic has the Lab module, order tests for this patient right from the appointment; the lab team tracks it from sample collection through to a reported result (see Lab & diagnostics). Once you save a prescription, Dispense at pharmacy (clinics with the Pharmacy module) opens the pharmacy sale screen pre-linked to that exact Rx, so the pharmacist dispenses precisely what you wrote.
It's a reception task — you create the follow-up by setting a date on the prescription, and the front desk works the list and calls patients.
One or more recorded readings fall outside the normal range for this patient's age. Open the Vitals card to see which ones.
Yes — reopen that appointment's Rx screen; it loads the saved prescription with an "Editing RX-xxxxx" banner, and Save updates it in place.
It only searches once you've typed 2+ characters — give it a moment, a "Searching…" hint shows while it loads.
