Set up your clinic
The owner's checklist for getting a new clinic ready to see patients.
You've registered your clinic and you're in — here's the order that gets you from a blank clinic to seeing patients. Everything below lives under Settings, which only the owner (and any staff you make an admin) can reach. New clinics start on a 14-day free trial, and nothing is locked until it ends — Settings → Your plan always shows exactly what you have.
1. Complete your clinic profile
- 1Go to Settings → Clinic profile.
- 2Fill in your clinic name, phone, email and address — these appear on invoices, the booking page and receipts.
- 3Add your GSTIN and GST rate (e.g. 18) if you charge GST on invoices.
- 4Under Branding, upload a logo and favicon, and pick a brand colour — these carry through the staff panel and your public booking page.
2. Add your doctors
Go to Settings → Doctors and add each doctor with their name, phone, specialization, qualification and consultation fee. Email is optional for doctors — phone is what they'll actually sign in with. Each doctor gets their own record you can open later to manage their availability and consulting hours.
3. Add staff & assign roles
Go to Settings → Staff & roles to invite your front desk, pharmacy, lab and billing team. Each invite needs a name, phone (their sign-in ID) and a role — Clinic Admin, Manager, Receptionist, Billing, Pharmacist, Lab Admin or Lab Technician. They'll get a link to set their own password. Pharmacist and lab roles only work if your plan includes the Pharmacy or Lab module — a locked role shows "not in your plan" with a link to see what upgrading unlocks.
4. Set up services, pricing & billing model
- 1Go to Settings → Services & pricing to define what you charge for — consultations and any other billable services.
- 2Go to Settings → Billing model and either apply a quick-setup template that matches your clinic, or configure it yourself: when you collect payment (after consult, upfront, or credit/khata), whether OPD, pharmacy and lab get one combined bill or separate ones, and the invoice number prefix for each.
5. Configure UPI payments and GST
Still on Settings → Clinic profile, add your UPI ID (VPA) under UPI payments — e.g. clinic@okhdfc. This generates a real payment QR code on every invoice so patients can pay by scanning, with no payment gateway and no transaction fee. GST rate is set on the same page, in the Clinic profile panel.
6. Choose or confirm your plan
Settings → Your plan is the plain-language answer to "what do I actually have?" — every feature Ayunila gates on is listed there, marked as included, off, or needing an upgrade. Settings → Subscription is where you actually change plans or apply a coupon.
7. Optional: enable WhatsApp reminders
If your plan includes WhatsApp, you can turn on a nightly WhatsApp day-end summary for yourself from Settings → Clinic profile → Notifications, and use per-patient WhatsApp reminders from Follow-ups and Messages once patients are in the system.
None of this has to happen in one sitting. The order above is the one that unblocks the most people fastest — clinic profile and doctors first, since nothing else works without them.
If you haven't subscribed to a paid plan, some features become unavailable, but your data and login are never lost — subscribe any time from Settings → Subscription to pick back up.
No — clinic profile and at least one doctor are the only real prerequisites. Services, UPI and branding can be filled in later.
Yes, every setting here can be revisited any time from the Settings menu — nothing is locked in at signup.
